SAIEEE Digital Terrestrial Television Migration Panel

Nokukhanya@varsitytv.co.za    Twitter:@nokhumanjoms South African Institute of  Electrical Engineers (SAIEE) introduced the Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) to a migration Panel. The DTT IS television broadcasted on land and not on satalite and is digital; explained William Stucke the ICT Consultant. This set up box and satalite will be for sale but the government also has an ownership incentive programme for people who will not be able to afford. The process of getting the DTT will be to register and get the set up box free of charge. The challenge will be mobilizing the project and the transition from analogue to the new age digital television because one thing for sue the the analogue will disappear and the public will have nothing to watch. The 2017 CESA's Presidential Golf Day

Nokukhanya@varsitytv.co.za           Twitter: @nokhumanjoms CESA hosted the 2017 Presidential Golf Challenge on the the 13th of October, at the Johannesburg Woodmead Country Club. The event's past year success created a platform for CESA members and clients to network and socialize. The event had two parts to it; during the day it was the golf challenge the in the evening it was dinner where the day golfers changed into tuxedos and /or formal wear. It is an understatement to say that this years was a success. We hope that the annual grows and exceeds the standards. GALLERY

Eskom Expo for young Scientists

The festival was launched almost four decades ago. The expo is for pupils from grade 5-12 they really have the most captivating projects that are intellectually though through. This year’s expo has gotten bigger and better not only from the audience perception but also what the young scientists showcase. They are not only have a bright future in the field of science but they present a lot of innovative projects. The Eskom expo allows entrances from all over the continent.
